SCOTTVILLE — West Shore Bank officials are scheduled to visit Gateway to Success (G2S) Academy Friday morning to present a $50,000 check to school officials and to tour the charter school, which is scheduled to open in the fall.
The donated money is earmarked to help with construction of the new school’s faculty room and small meeting room.
Those rooms will be named the West Shore Bank faculty room and West Shore Bank small conference room.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned at the school on Aug. 19 and it will open in the fall to serve area students in grades 6-12.
