4-H at G2S:
We are excited to announce that we are working in partnership with MSU Extension’s 4-H program.
Our goal is for ALL currently enrolled G2S students to become 4-H members!
Please sign this linked Permission From by Wednesday, Jan. 20th for your student to participate in activities through a G2S partnership with 4-H. This form was also mailed, emailed and sent by text for your convenience.
We are working with 4-H to provide your student more access to experiences (field trips) and skills (sports, arts, gaming, animal care, etc.). It will connect our Wolfpack to a diverse range of topics and interests - and other kids who like the same things!
The 4-H program matches perfectly with G2S’s Project-Based Learning (PBL) model. From the 4-H Michigan website, “Many people think 4-H is just for kids who live on farms or those interested in raising and selling animals – but that’s not true! From program areas ranging from science and technology to clothing and textiles, and so much more, 4-H provides fun, educational opportunities that empower young people with skills to lead for a lifetime and become the foundation for future success.”
How much does it cost?
Nothing! This effort is for the benefit of all G2S students at no cost to families. The 4-H membership fee will be covered by G2S funds, 4-H scholarships and/or local support.
